A special discussion under the Chairmanship of Public Security Minister Tiran Alles, was held on Tuesday (19), at the Parliamentary Committee Room No. 1, to apprise Members of Parliament of the investigative report on the Easter Sunday attacks.
Ruling Party and Opposition MPs participated at this special meeting, while investigation officers present, responded to queries raised by the MPs about the investigative report. The MPs thanked Minister Alles for his efforts to raise awareness among MPs, of the investigative report on the Easter Sunday attacks.
Public Security Ministry Secretary Viani Gunathilaka, Police Commissioner C.D. Wickramaratne, senior officers of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Terrorism Investigation Division also participated in the event.
