The much-anticipated 21st DSI Supersport Schools Volleyball Championship 2023 finals are all set to take place this weekend at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo.
Since its inception in 1999, the DSI Supersport Schools Volleyball Championship has been a cornerstone in nurturing talent, both in rural and urban areas of Sri Lanka and providing young Spikers with a national platform to showcase their skills. With an impressive journey that has seen the participation of nearly 400 sports personalities, this year’s championship has witnessed an unprecedented turnout, with over 5,000 teams competing from across the island according to the organizers.
The championship features various age categories, including under-11 boys and girls, under-13 boys and girls, under-15 boys and girls, under-17 boys and girls and under-19 boys and girls.
