President’s College of Ambagasdowa triumphed at the CBL Samaposha 2023 Provincial School Games under the Dinana Daruwo project covering five provinces of the North Central, North Western, Eastern, Uva and Southern provinces.
The event took place at the Vincent Dias stadium in Badulla from September 1 for 4.
As many as 18,000 school children from 650 schools are in the fray showcasing their skills and talents at these Games according to the organisers.
While President’s College emerged as the winner, Dharmapala College Bandarawela was the runner-up.
According to the organisers, the CBL Samaposha’s Dinana Daruwo programme has been designed to empower the next generation in education, sports, nutrition, creativity and good values which are important in their lives.
