The opening of a new urban sanctuary in the heart of Colombo, Tricyclebnb and Café took place recently. The event was graced by members of the community and friends from the media. Guests had the chance to explore TricycleBnb, taste the delectable food from the menu, connect with the Tricycle team, and delve into the very essence of Tricycle.

The event was an opportunity to aim the spotlight on Tricyclebnb and Cafe, beckoning like-minded individuals from the community who could become valued patrons and ambassadors for this hidden gem in Colombo.

Tricycle diverts from the conventional notion of a Bed & Breakfast and cafe, as it offers personality, comfort and a place to unwind. It contains four alluring rooms furnished with modern amenities and a hint of vintage allure, catering to solo adventurers, backpackers, couples and families seeking a tranquil retreat for planning urban escapades. Strategically situated, TricycleBnb and Cafe is a pet-friendly oasis and provides easy access for guests to explore the city’s landmarks, cultural gems, and hidden treasures. It is also a space to host events.

The Tricycle Cafe offers freshly brewed coffee and a menu that showcases tantalizing local and continental dishes, encapsulating the very essence of Colombo’s flavors. Among the beloved specials on the Tricycle menu are the mouthwatering Black Pork Curry with Rice, the aromatic Pesto Pasta, and the succulent Grilled Chicken with Creamy Mash. These culinary delights, alongside Tricycle’s staple assortment of sandwiches and wraps, have swiftly gained the adoration of both locals and visitors alike.

Tricycle also welcomes pre-orders for a range of savory quiches.

Deshika of the Tricyclebnb and Café team said that the aim of this new establishment is to provide people opportunities to craft memorable experiences during a city stay. “Whether you’re here to explore the city or simply seeking a tranquil haven to savor coffee, away from the hustle and bustle of central Colombo, our doors are always open to embrace you”.
