The World Summit of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM), was held in Florence, Italy from September 22-23. The event was attended by front line national and international speakers from the economic and industrial world.
President ISMM Jayantha Gallehewa attended this event while representing Sri Lanka and the Institute of Supply and Materials Management.
The World Summit 2023 was conducted under the theme of “Procurement to Lead Innovation and Value Capture while Coping with Inflation, Shortages and Geopolitical Instability”.
Over thirty speakers from four continents and different industrial realities, addressed the forum on key issues of Procurement and Supply Chain Management in the current context.
The other members of the Delegation were Council Members of ISMM, Vice President Lilantha Subasinghe, Treasurer Dharshana Wijemanne, Secretary, PD and TC, Priyanga Kirihena, and members Nadeesha Chandrasekera and Sayuru Adhikari.
