Sri Lanka’s oldest state owned pioneer gifts and souvenir shop ‘Laksala’ will conduct its first ever traditional handicrafts exhibition ‘Lak Craft Exhibition’ to coincide with its 65th anniversary on November 7 at the BMICH, Colombo.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe will be the chief guest.
The objective of holding the craft exhibition is to encourage local craftsmen to produce various new traditional items to fulfil the requirements of foreign visitors.
