Our annual sports day was held recently. It was full of fun and excitement.
The playground was decorated with flags, colourful bunting and flowers. There were three houses and they were Sapphire, Topaz and Emerald. I am in Emerald House and I participated in three events. They were hurdles, obstacle race and body balancing.
Many boys and girls also took part in the events. There were many events but I loved the drill event which was very colourful and enjoyable.
Also the gymnastics were very exciting as they used fire rings. My friends and I got first and second places in our events.
The sports meet came to a close with the distribution of prizes, which were given by our principal and guests. I enjoyed the day with my friends and family. I am so excited to see our next annual sports meet day.
