Former Sri Lanka World Cup champion and current international cricket umpire Kumara Dharmasena has been served notice by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Prasanna Amerasinghe to appear in court over what is said to be a forceful entry into a property at Narahenpita.
Dharmasena is the prorietor of a company known as Pinnatenna Plantations and has been ordered to appear in court on October 12.
He is currently serving in the Elite Umpires Panel at the 2023 World Cup which began in India on Thgursday.
