Vijayaba Maha Vidyalaya, Grandpass, Colombo held their Prefects Investiture Ceremony at the school hall recently. It was held under the patronage of the Principal, Ven. Beragama Wimalathissa Thera.
Former Member of Colombo Municipal Council and Colombo Central United National Party Assistant Secretary, A.R.M. Safan, the chief guest pinned the badges on the students.
Principal, Ven. Beragama Wimalathissa Thera also presented gift packs to the students who participated in various contests at the ceremony.
Chief Inspector of Police, Grandpass, H.H. Harison and the Deputy Principal also pinned the badges on the students.
Teachers, students and parents were also present.
