BYD Auto Co officials meet President

Top Executives of Chinese BYD Auto Co., Ltd., the automotive subsidiary of the publicly listed Chinese multinational manufacturing company, BYD Co. Ltd, headquartered in Shenzhen met President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Transport Minister, Dr. Bandula Gunawardane Chairman Port City Colombo and Board of Investment Dinesh Weerakkody in Beijing to discuss opportunities for new investments in Sri Lanka.

Founded in February 1995 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 31 July 2002, BYD Co Ltd began as a rechargeable-battery factory competing in the Chinese market against Japanese imports.
