Suren Prematilake emerged as the overall Nett winner with 44 points while Chandana Gunasekera was the overall Gross winner with 33 points at the Dialog Enterprise Rotary Metro Par 3 Golf Classic conducted by the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan and the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) on October 14 at the RCGC course.
Winners were also found for men in the divisions A, B, C, Senior and Masters.
Mukeeta Manukulasooriya with 43 points emerged winner in the Women’s event while Michele Thurairaja was the runner-up with 42 points with a better score on the back nine holes.
This was the seventh edition of the Par 3 golf classic organized by the Rotary club of Colombo Metropolitan to raise funds and help underprivileged children in Sri Lanka.
Golfers were divided into two groups, with tee-off times set for 7:00 am and 11:30 am.
The title sponsor for the event was Dialog Enterprise.
