Uhana Tissapura Maha Vidyalaya, Loyola College Negombo, Pannala National School and Davisamara Maha Vidyalaya Seeduwa emerged champions at the beach volleyball tournament of the All Island School Games conducted by the Ministry of Education at Negombo beach recently.
Tissapura Maha Vidyalaya emerged under-17 girls champion and Pannala National School was the under-20 girls’ champion.
Loyola College finished as the under-17 boys champion while Davisamara Maha Vidyalaya ended as the under-20 boys champion.
K.M. Shashini Malshani of Pannala National School and H. Manuja Theekshana of Davisamara Maha Vidyalaya were adjudicated best players in the girls and boys segments respectively.
