The 2023 Senior School Prize Giving of The British School in Colombo (BSC) was held at the BMICH in Colombo recently, under the patronage of BSC Principal Mrs. Hannah Wells.
All students who excelled in their respective subjects from Year-7 to Year-12 were presented with Merit Awards and Progress Awards in addition to House Awards, House Colours and the recognition of Long Service Staff.
Jordan Fernando received the Dr. Scarth Award for his outstanding contribution to the school community and for upholding the ethos and values of BSC over several years.
Nobel House won the Overall Inter-House Championship for 2022/23 followed by the first runners-up Scott House, second runners-up Newton House and third runners-up Shakespeare House.
The awards were presented by the Principal Mrs. Wells, Dr. Romesh Ranawana, Umar Maniku (Director BSC) and Nick Hardcastle (Head of Senior School).
