Opposition Leader and Samagi Jana Balawegaya Leader Sajith Premadasa said that all 10,126 schools in the country should be converted to Suhuru schools (Smart schools) and teaching should be done in English.
Opposition Leader Premadasa told a ceremony at the Arafa Maha Vidyalaya, Udugoda, that he is not afraid like others to tell the truth that education in our country should be conducted in English.
He said that the bankrupt country should start producing world-winning citizens and added that he is dedicated to building a smart country and for this purpose the education system should be a smart education system based on modern technology.
