Sanasa General Insurance Company and the Colombo Law Society (CLS), a branch association of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) recently.
Through this MoU, CLS members will be able to enjoy a wide range of insurance facilities offered by Sanasa General Insurance with discounts. A group of representatives of Sanasa General Insurance including its Chief Operating Officer (COO) Wasantha Perera, Rushan Cooray, Sumal Jayaranga, Dileepa Ranganath were present. The CLS was represented by its President, Attorney-at-Law Sanjeewa Dasanayake, and Attorneys Sandun Nagahawatte, Gamali Amaratunga, Naveen Shanaka, Prasanna Liyanaarachchi, and Lahiru Welgama.
CLS President, Sanjeewa Dasanayake said, “With this MoU signed between CLS and Sanasa General Insurance, our members will receive many benefits. This is an important opportunity for both parties. This MoU also provided Sanasa General Insurance with a prime opportunity to popularise their insurance schemes among our members. We hope that both parties will work with mutual understanding and cooperation to make this agreement successful.”
Sanasa General Insurance COO Wasantha Perera said, “It is a great honour for us as an organisation to have the opportunity to provide services to the CLS, a prominent association of lawyers. We expect to maintain this understanding even stronger in the future.
