People’s Bank has partnered with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) as the Platinum Sponsor for the ‘Presidential Export Awards 2023.’
The collaboration was formally sealed when Chairman of People’s Bank, Sujeewa Rajapaksa, symbolically presented the sponsorship cheque to Chairman/CEO of Export Development Board, Dr. Kingsley Bernard, at the headquarters of the People’s Bank recently.
The Presidential Export Awards (PEA) will be held for the 25th time on Thursday, November 23, at the BMICH.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held to recognise exporters who have made exceptional contributions to the country’s export sector and economic advancement for two financial years 2021/22 and 2022/23.
The awards will be presented in two main categories as overall awards and Products and Services Sector awards for each financial year by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
This corporate sponsorship and partnership of People’s Bank will be a catalyst for the success of the PEA 2023 and it shows the commendable commitment of People’s Bank toward the improvement of Sri Lanka’s exports.
