There are many great hotels near the Falls to accommodate visitors to this beautiful waterfall. However, there are problems including traffic jams, crime and business problems like expanding industries. These gigantic falls drop around fifty-seven metres. This is the best place to hang around for people who are looking for thrills and excitement.

The Niagara Falls was formed ten-thousand years ago in Ontario, Canada. This was a result of glaciers moving back to show the steep face of the mountain. This allowed the waters of Lake Erie to flow north, over the slope, to Lake Ontario. The steep face gradually eroded back toward Lake Erie, a process that has also formed the Niagara Gorge the Whirlpool Rapids and the Whirlpool.
The Falls serve as a border between the U.S. (New York) and Canada (Ontario). The Falls actually consist of the American Bridal Veil Falls and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, collectively called Niagara. They were created 12,000 years ago when large glaciers retreated allowing the Niagara River to flow over large sections of rock. This is how the Niagara Falls was formed.
It has been called one of the greatest wonders of the world, bringing to mind pictures of a far away, unattainable place. It seemed like a larger-than-life miracle of nature. As a child, I believed that Niagara Falls, like Mt. Rushmore and the Grand Canyon were all very real attractions of the United States.
Niagara Falls has the world’s highest flow rate. It is thought to be the world’s fastest-moving waterfall. The Horseshoe Falls is the tallest waterfall at 188 feet (57 metres) tall and 170 feet (52 meters) deep.
If you visit Canada or the US you should definitely see the Niagara Falls.
