Sri Lanka, England, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Pakistan have failed to qualify for the semi finals of the on-going cricket World Cup in India.
A surprise package is Afghanistan that stands a chance to qualify for the semi finals if they win their remaining two matches against Australia and South Africa.
South Africa and India have already qualified for the semi finals as the top two teams.
Australia, New Zealand and Afghanistan compete for the remaining two semi finals slots.
The two semi finals take place on November 15 and 16 and the final on November 19 (Sunday) in Ahamadabad.
