The Sri Lanka rupee appreciated against the USD in the Forex market, with rupee being recorded at Rs. 327.1 compared to Rs. 328.0 recorded during the beginning of the week according to First Capital Research.
CBSL conducted its weekly T-Bill auction, expecting to raise Rs. 165.0Bn, but however the auction was slightly undersubscribed despite 03M and 06M gaining an over subscription while 1Yr bill only enticed an acceptance of Rs. 2.4Bn out of the total offered Rs. 30.0Bn.
