Many people believe that planning for the future is extremely vital as life is unpredictable and we cannot expect all situations to be in favour of us. Planning ahead does help us achieve our goals efficiently and guides us when we face an unexpected or tragic situation but the crucial and fundamental question is, will the plans we make for the future always work? Many factors influence and direct us in achieving our goals such as self discipline, self confidence, time management and hard work.

These qualities within a person would define how quickly they could reach their goals. It is also essential to balance living in the present along with planning for the future as it will help us to cope with our daily routine better and reduce the burden of daily stress. Many things may not go according to the plan we make and we might come across many failures and stressful experiences throughout our life which is completely normal but we must ensure that we have backup plans to confront these types of challenging situations in an orderly manner.

Planning ahead will not guarantee us success but will play a major role in helping us face our day to day routine effectively. A great number of people believe too much in fate and destiny and altogether evade planning for the future which could limit the efforts they put into achieving their goals. They also would gradually relinquish believing in themselves which could drain out their self esteem because according to them everything happens as planned by fate and that nothing is under their control.

People who possess a valiant personality and have adapted a powerful mindset steer towards success. They believe that they are resilient and flexible enough to redefine their destiny which will have a great impact on helping them achieve their goal.

There are quite a few disadvantages to planning ahead as well as it will tie you to the plans you built and prevent you from thinking further about the situation and as mentioned life are incalculable and your backup plans might be of no use either. So, there are also chances that you would come across devastating circumstances where you would struggle to face the challenges you get.

Planning is a gradual and continuous process which requires consistency and patience as it is a tedious task where we will have to assemble several alternatives so that we can efficiently overcome the obstacles which will come our way when striving to achieve our goals. But in conclusion, planning doesn’t work unless you get out of your comfort zone and have the heartfelt desire for success and the qualities to achieve them.
