Lyceum International School Wattala (X1) and St. John’s College Jaffna (Y2) advanced to the semi-finals of the Under-19 division two schools limited overs cricket tournament yesterday.
Lyceum beat Sri Devananda College Ambalangoda by six wickets in the quarter-final at St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa yesterday. The other quarter-final between Anuradhapura Central and St. John’s College Jaffna at the Asgiriya Stadium Kandy was abandoned due to wet conditions. St. John’s College advanced to the quarter-final with a higher average in the first round.
