During the opening of the store, co-founders Mohamed Zaharan and Mohamed Fathhi shared their vision for the launch of their physical store. Zaharan shed light on the brand’s name, ‘Street82,’ which pays tribute to the year of their birth, 1982. This name symbolizes the challenges they’ve overcome on their life’s journey, metaphorically represented by ‘Street82.’
“Both of us were born in 1982, and we’ve been friends since our school days. Owning our own brand has been a shared dream for us. We spent years studying the markets, conducting extensive research, and when we finally had the opportunity to launch our own brand a year ago, we were confident and unwavering in our decision. Today, as we celebrate this significant milestone of opening our first physical store, we are genuinely delighted and honoured to have a loyal clientele who have supported our brand from the very beginning.
