Celebration of togetherness, family bond, health and gratitude towards food throughout the year, is promised to be cherished in advance to Thanksgiving table essentials. Moreover, this festivity also serves as a platform for cultural exchange, allowing guests from various nationalities and backgrounds to gather and share the spirit of prosperity of the Turkey Meal.

At Mount Lavinia Hotel, it’s not only about the delicious food, it’s also about the beautiful setting – nestled on a pristine beachfront, the hotel offers a stunning backdrop for a family gathering , a mouthwatering feast, surrounded by unparalleled beauty and attentive service.

Chief Operating Officer of MLH Anura Dewapura said, “This was my favorite holiday when I was in the US. Thanksgiving brings families together to sit down around a table to pray and give thanks. This tradition fascinated me to initiate the same culture in MLH by introducing The Thanksgiving Dinner back in 2009.

This year’s seasonal calendar of MLH is all about crafting a unique experience to our guests, where we will bring together different Christmas cuisines and traditions under the theme of ‘Christmas around the world’. We will commence our festive celebrations with Thanksgiving Dinner continuing the MLH tradition from the era of 2009 to 2012, where the Tree lighting stands next in the seasonal agenda on November 26.

Country themed Christmas lunches are lined up symbolising this year’s festive theme which will allow the hotel to value their traditions and cultures to celebrate the joy in December. Christmas day Brunch is going to be the star among the festivities because of the big scale planning.

The Christmas-eve Dinner will be organised to deliver the true seasonal atmosphere for the guests.
