The champion Devapathiraja College, Galle girls cricket squad comprising Sumudu Nisansala (Captain), Sanjana Kavindi, Hiruni Hansika, Rashmi Netharanjaliee, Nethagi Isuranjali, Sashini Gimhani, Mahinsa Nethmini, Shehara Induwari, Hirunika Niwarthana, Lakshi Abhimani, Vibuddhi Hiranya, Senuri Wasana, Shalini Shehara, Chameesha Nethmi, Dinumi Dinethya and Chamalsha Dewmini pose for a ceremonial picture. They were coached by Mahesh Sandaruwan (head coach) assisted by Rashmi Tharuka with Achini Dinusha de Silva as the teacher in charge

Unbeaten Devapathiraja College Ratgama, Galle ended as Champions of the Under 19 Girls Division One inter school cricket tournament Friday as they beat last year’s title winners Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha by four wickets in the final at Thurstan College ground in Colombo.

Devapathiraja won the title for the seventh time and outplayed six other rival school teams.
