The Mercantile Cricket Association 2024 season got under way with the MCA ‘D’ division 40-over League Tournament on November 5 and is currently in progress.
Seven matches have been completed up to November 15 and the brief results are:

At MCA: Stafford Motors beat Yokohama TWS by 73 runs;

At Pannipitiya: Nations Trust Bank beat National Development Bank by 81 runs;
NTB: 204/9 (40), NDB: 123(34.2)
At MCA: Yokohama TWS beat Recovery Room by two wickets;
Recovery Room: 174/9 (40), Yokohama TWS: 177/8 (37.3)
At Darley Road: Central Finance beat Colombo Dockyard by six wickets;
Colombo Dock Yard: 127 (31.3), Central Finance: 133/4 (22.2)
At MCA: Melwire Rolling beat Peoples Leasing by 50 runs;
Melwire Rolling: 105 (28.3), Peoples Leasing: 55 (26.4)
At MCA: Hayleys Group ‘B’ beat Power Hands Plantation by 18 runs on the DLS Method; (Match reduced to 25 overs a side due to rain);
Hayleys Group: 123/6 (25), Power Hands Plantation, given a revised target of 154 runs in 25 overs were all out for 135 runs in 21.5 overs.
