Chief of Staff to the President and National Security Advisor Sagala Ratnayake inspects exhibits at the cultural extravaganza

The Embassy of Egypt in Colombo held a cultural extravaganza that goes beyond showcasing the vibrant heritage of Sri Lanka. “The Nine Provinces Bazaar II” was held at the Colombo City Centre on November 4 and 5, under the patronage of Ambassador of Egypt to Sri Lanka and the Maldives Maged Mosleh.

Chief of Staff to the President and National Security Advisor Sagala Ratnayake was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Ambassadors from Pakistan, UAE, Turkey, Malaysia, Palestine and Saudi Arabia were also present.

The cultural extravaganza showcased the Embassy’s commitment to supporting Sri Lankan crafters, women, small entrepreneurs, persons with special abilities, and elders. The event became a heartwarming fusion of artistry, culture and compassion.
