The Presidential Export Awards ceremony organised annually by the Export Development Board (EDB) to recognise exporters who have made outstanding contributions to the economic development of Sri Lanka was held at the BMICH on Thursday, November 23 under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Fifty-one awards were presented to honour the best exporters for the past two financial years at the event.
Here MAS Active Chief Executive Officer Chelan Gunathilaka receives an award from President Wickremesinghe on behalf of MAS Holdings, which won 16 awards including Innovative Export Product of the Year and Best Exporter. State Minister of Investment Promotion Dilum Amunugama and MAS Holdings Team Member M. Deepika Kumari were also present.
