Every child has rights, irrespective of their age, race and gender or where they were born. Children have the right to health care, education, healthy food and a clean and safe environment to live in.

Child rights are very important for the physical and mental growth of children. They are important to save children from child labour and harassment. It is also important for the development of the nation.

Children are the future of the world. So, all elders have a responsibility to protect the rights of children. In 1989, the United Nations Convention on Child Rights was passed. Child rights are very essential to set up a good environment for children.
