Tamadi Kavindya of Devenanda College Ambalangoda and Shafiullah Akram of Trinity College were adjudged as the best players of the tournament among girls and boys respectively at the Junior National Table Tennis Championship held at the Bandaragama Indoor Stadium from November 25 to 27 organized by the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka that had remarkable talent dished out over three days.
Over 500 players from across the country participated creating an atmosphere of fierce competition according to officials.
The TTASL appreciated the generous support of three esteemed national champions in Sri Lanka, Rohan Sirisena, Ishara Madurangi and Udaya Ranasinghe for their sponsorship of cash prizes for the junior champions. (TBR)
