The National Umpires Accreditation Course conducted by Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB), commenced yesterday (Saturday) and concludes today (Sunday) in Colombo.
According to SLB the National Umpires Accreditation Course program is the stepping stone to becoming an internationally recognized official. The candidates who enroll for the course will receive interactive training and guidance to keep them updated with the latest rules and regulations.
The Sri Lanka Badminton National Umpires Refreshes Course 2023 also took place last week. A total of 75 National umpires representing all Provinces took part in the Refresher Course.
All participating umpires will face a written exam on the second day of the course and will be directed to the upcoming National Championships for practical assessment and grading. (BP)
