CCC appoints evaluators panel for BCCS Awards 2023

Following the launch of the application process for the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards 2023, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) has appointed the Panel of Evaluators for the Awards.

As Chairman of the Panel, Rathika de Silva will lead an experienced panel of evaluators who will evaluate applications for sustainability under the Awards’ three Ps – Planet, People and Profit.

Applications under the sub-sections will be considered by expert evaluators in those subject areas. Accordingly, the ‘Planet’ section of the application relating to the Environment will be evaluated by Ravi De Silva, T.F. Nimal Perera and Prof. Erandathie Lokupitiya. Under the ‘People’ section, the subsections of Employee Relations will be evaluated by Prasad De Silva and Daniel Dissanayake, Community Relations by Dr. Mallika Samaranayake and Dr. Sashika Manoratne, and Customer Relations by Asanga Ranasinghe and Deepal Sooriyarachchi.

The ‘Profit’ section of the applications will be evaluated under Economic Contribution and Governance, by Ms. Imalka Iddamalgoda, Ms. Dulani Sirisena, and Ms. Pyumi Sumanasekara.

The Best Sustainability Projects Awards 2023 recognise individual sustainability projects launched by Sri Lankan Corporates, which will be evaluated by a panel of evaluators comprising Azam Bakeer Markar, Vinod Malwatte, Mrs. Harshini de Silva Pandithasekera, Kesava Murali Kanapathy, and Ms. Karin Fernando.
