America Mutamil University conferred an honorary doctorate in Tamil literature to Thinakaran Deputy Chief Sub Editor K. Easwaralingam at a ceremony at the Ramboda Thondaman Cultural Hall recently.
Kibou International College hosted its first Annual Concert with the Graduation Ceremony of the Preschool section at the Polgahawela Town Hall on December 5. The programs included Sinhala, Tamil, English and Japanese songs and dances as well as Christmas carols and drama. Chief guest Senior Officer of JICA, Sri Lanka, Mrs. Rajini De Silva, presented a collection of Japanese children’s books to the College.
