HNB PLC, has teamed up with Colombo City Centre (CCC) to spread Christmas cheer under the banner “Christmas Cheer at CCC Powered by HNB Credit Cards”.

The event complements the bank’s ongoing #happyisnow campaign which promises choice and value for all HNB credit and debit cardholders.

The festivities commenced with the lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Atrium. Chairman of the Colombo City Centre, Rusi Pestonjee, HNB DGM – Retail Banking Group (RBG), Sanjay Wijemanne, and Colombo City Centre CEO, Hirushka Fernando were present.

HNB, DGM, RBG, Sanjay Wijemanne said, “We are excited to partner with CCC to infuse the heart of the city with Christmas cheer. This collaboration brings together the best of shopping, entertainment, and rewards, ensuring that everyone who visits CCC during December experiences the magic of the season. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the spirit of the season while creating lasting memories.”

Throughout December, visitors to CCC can partake in a myriad of activities and games, and enjoy exciting gifts at the dedicated HNB stall on the ground floor. As a treat for HNB cardholders, every purchase made at CCC using an HNB card permits them to double their points on the CCC Perks loyalty app.

These points can be redeemed against a variety of products and services within the mall. Cardholders will also then become eligible for two entries into the Twelve Days of Christmas CCC raffle draw, for which the grand prize – an overnight stay for two on a Full Board basis at Heritance Kandalama by Aitken Spence Hotels – is courtesy of HNB.

Colombo City Centre CEO Hirushka Fernando said, “We are delighted to announce a festive partnership with Hatton National Bank as our esteemed sponsor for this joyous season. This collaboration not only enhances our ability to bring magical Christmas activities to life but also underscores the spirit of community and celebration that defines our shopping mall.

Together with HNB, we aim to create a memorable and enchanting experience for our visitors, fostering a sense of togetherness and holiday cheer. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the season of joy, as our mall transforms into a Christmas wonderland filled with festive delights and heartwarming moments for families and friends alike,” he said.
