The first five batches (1986 to 1990) of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya will host a gala dinner dance at the Galadari Hotel on December 29 from 8.00pm onwards, as the grand finale of the golden jubilee Celebrations.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will be utilised towards the upgrading of facilities for the Senior Western Band and Senior Eastern Band of the school.
This signature event will be an evening full of celebration, dining and dancing with prizes and surprises.
Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, founded in 1973 celebrated its golden jubilee this year with many commemorative events and charity projects initiated to raise funds for the benefit of the school.
