Mahinda College beat St. Aloysius College Galle in their annual basketball match on the latter’s court on Friday.
Mahinda College won by 59 points to 47.
Sasmitha Abenayake the skipper of Mahinda College was adjudicated best player of the match while MNM Shahmmi, the skipper of St. Aloysius College adjudged the best offensive player of the match.
Danidu Nadeeshan of Mahinda College was declared the best defensive player of the match.
Mahinda College was represented by Sasmitha Abenayaka (Captain), AGJ Nethsara, KKSU Jayathilaka, Dasun Chamod Liyanage, Dinuka Dilsara, AE Wickramathilaka, Danindu Nadeeshan, Kavithra Kithmika, RS Sooriyaarchchi, EAD Udula Nimansith, Savishka Nethsara and Pasan Liyanage.
