Dr. Roshan Rajapaksa of TSR Technologies, won the Best Service Provider in Asia award for providing a guarantee for the heads of Eco-Solvent Digital Printers.
This award is the second international award won by Dr. Rajapaksa and his aim is to raise the standard of the printing industry which is collapsing and to create a group of trained workers.
Dr. Rajapaksa said, “Inkjet printers have a very narrow head. When no company in the world gave a warranty for Eco-Solvent digital printer heads, I gave a one-year warranty for it six years ago. This service was provided during the Covid lockdown and during the economic slowdown. This was the main reason for winning awards.
We also provide printer services in India, Papua Guinea and the Maldives.
“As a part time teacher at the Sri Lanka Printing School, I supported the development of Sri Lanka’s printing industry by providing quality service for all Violet CTP machines that were not working properly, introducing the first High Resolution CTP machine for security printing and introducing the first UV hybrid digital printer,” he said.
