He leaves behind wife Ethel Mahendran, son Biren Mahendran, daughter-in-law Pumica Mahendran and grand-daughters Bianca Mahendran and Calista Mahendran all from Flower Mound, TX, USA. He is also the son of late Subapathy Rajah, and late Lilly Rajah of Uduvil, Sri Lanka and brother of Rajah Indran of Hendala, Sri Lanka and Vasanthi Sivapartham of Sydney, Australia.
