Mahith Perera and Dineth Goonewardena put on an unbroken 306 runs partnership for the fourth wicket to steer S. Thomas’ College to crush St. Benedict’s College by an innings and 128 runs in their schools cricket fixture played at Kotahena yesterday.
Perera scored an unbeaten 151 with three sixes and 16 boundaries while Goonewardena hammered an unbeaten 150 with fives sixes and 15 boundaries.
