“Alternative Reality”, an exhibition of 24 drawings by artist Dilip Susruta Samarasinghe, which was opened on January 10 at the Alliance Française de, will continue till January 21.
The medium the artist has used was pen and ink because of the precision of that medium that permits considerable details to be included in the drawings. He has used a wide range of pens which include fine-liners, but also older instruments such as the dip pen and stylo-graphique pens. Four colour paintings have also been done with a recently introduced pen that uses acrylic ink.
