Chinese MCC officials meet Maldives President

Chairman of MCC Group and China Metallurgical Corporation (MCC) and Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Chen Jianguang, met Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.

The two parties conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on cooperation in areas such as infrastructure construction, real estate development, and ecological environmental protection in the Maldives. MCC has great faith in Sri Lanka operating its regional office in Colombo which oversees Sri Lanka, The Maldives, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Currently headed by Liu Su, MCC has a commendable track record in Sri Lanka, having successfully completed the Colombo-Katunayake Airport Expressway and engaged in investing, over USD 2.0 billion in Sri Lanka.
