The Nidahas Adahas (Colours of Imagination) art competition and exhibition, an initiative by Janashakthi Life aimed at fostering creativity among young children concluded recently.
It showcased the artistic brilliance of children aged 3-5 and 6-10. The event attracted over 10,000 submissions from across the nation, with artworks collected through regional activations to ensure widespread participation, targeting schools and pre-schools nationwide.
The exhibition and award ceremony took place at BMICH Colombo.
The highlight of the competition unfolded with the announcement of the winners. Recognising their outstanding achievements, the first, second and third place winners in each category were presented with cash prizes. Book vouchers were also extended to the top 10 participants from both age categories. A complimentary workshop was also organised by Janashakthi Life to further enhance the artistic skills of the participating children. This initiative aimed to provide a platform for learning and growth, beyond the confines of the competition.
Director/CEO of Janashakthi Life, Ravi Liyanage said, “The ‘Nidahas Adahas’ art competition and exhibition is one of many initiatives our company has taken towards advocating positive change in the society. This is not just about celebrating and nurturing young artistic talent.
