La Fêdes rois is a festival celebrated in France. It includes a king and a special cake. The cake is called gallete des rois and there is a special toy hidden in the cake. Whoever gets the special toy becomes the king or queen for the entire day.
The crown is made of gold paper. The youngest family member slides under the table and distributes the pieces of the cake to all the family members.
An extra piece is cut for the loved ones who are no longer with the family.
