What is your ideal cleanser? As the first step in your daily skincare routine, cleansing is crucial—possibly the most crucial—and should always come first. The products you use after cleansing your face won’t work as well if you don’t wash your face correctly with the appropriate cleanser for your skin type and concern because they won’t be able to penetrate effectively.

Keeping clean skin requires getting rid of all the debris, bacteria, pollution, and makeup left over from the day. Additionally, skipping cleansing can lead to clogged pores and increased risk of breakouts.

After washing, your skin shouldn’t feel tight or dry; instead, a good cleanser should leave it feeling clean rather than irritated. Selecting a cleanser that is appropriate for your specific skin type and concerns is crucial.

Before you choose a face wash, you need to identify your skin type, if you have oily skin, opt for a gel-based cleanser; dry skin benefits from creamy formulas. For sensitive skin, choose a gentle cleanser. Before choosing the right face wash, always check the ingredients, to prevent clogged pores. Avoid harsh chemicals. Consider your skincare concerns, such as oily or acne prone skin.

Choose the cleanser with targeted ingredients like salicylic acid, Lactic acid, Niacinamide and other main ingredients.

Double cleansing should be considered as one of the essential steps in the skin care routine. At the end of the day whether you wear makeup or not especially to remove make up you need to double cleanse your skin.

If you have acne prone or oily combination skin it’s better to use micellar water to remove your make up, dirt and grime. Use micellar water on a cotton pad and then use the face wash which comes in your night time skincare routine that is a method to double cleanse.

If you have dry skin or normal skin you can go with an oil based cleanser to remove the makeup or a cleansing milk to remove the makeup as the first step and as the second step you can use your regular face wash to finish your double cleansing step and double cleaning method is important especially when you wear makeup because just washing your face once doesn’t remove everything there is always some element left behind, so double cleansing is well practiced and it’s an essential step in your night time skincare routine.
