NUSS International Women’s Day

The National Union of Seafarers Sri Lanka (NUSS) sponsored annual International Women’s Day was held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute with the participation of hundreds of female trade unionists, activists and representatives both from Sri Lanka and India on Friday. A section of the participants at a public demonstration in Torrington Square. The Chief Guest at the event was International Labour Organisation (ILO) Resident Representative in Colombo Joany Simpson. NUSS President Palitha Atukorale and ITF Inspector (Colombo) Ranjan Perera also participated.
