First factory to fully manufacture electric three-wheelers opened

Minister of Transport, Highways and Mass Media Dr. Bandula Gunawardene opened the first factory complex to manufacture electric three-wheelers and convert fuel-powered three-wheelers to electric three-wheelers set up by Vega Engineering at the Maradana railway warehouse complex. Secretary to the Ministry of Transport and Highways Ranjith Rubasinghe, Chairman, Vega Engineering Dr. Harsha Subasinghe, General Manager of Railways H. M. K. W. Bandara and the Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic Nishantha Anuruddha Weerasinghe were also present.
