Milo Football Camps go places in Mullaitivu

The second session of the MILO Football Camps 2024 – Northern Province, (under-10 and under-12) was held in the Mullaitivu District on March 2.

The Camp had a participation of 32 teams, comprising of 14 girls teams and 18 boys teams.

Unleashing the potential of future football stars, the Milo Football Camps program aims to ignite the sportsmanship skills of aspiring athletes in the Northern Province.

Alongside the tournament, a select group of talented individuals will receive specialized training on weekends over the coming months, guided by seasoned coaches from the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association.

With the support of the Ministry of Education, Northern Province and the sponsorship of Nestlé Milo, the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association will manage the facilitation of this program.

Emerging victorious this weekend were school teams from the Mullaitivu district.

(Girls under-10);

(Boys under-10);
Mu/Iranaippalai Roman Catholic Maha Vidyalaya

(Girls under-12);
Mu/Mullaitivu Roman Catholic Girls’ School

(Boys under-12);

The teams representing the following schools have qualified to compete in the highly anticipated final round scheduled to be held at the Duraiappa Stadium in Jaffna on March 23.
