The Symphony Within
In hearts aflutter, dreams ignite, Like embers dancing in the night. Desires shimmer, ever bright, A symphony within the soul, yearning for its light. The lands we seek, beyond the shore, These are not just places, but wisdom to explore.
Mysteries and wonders, lessons evermore, A whispered plea to chase the unknown, always. The heaven dreamt, a whispered sigh, It is not a distant, but an inner sky.
A yearning deep, a peaceful quest, To find our haven, not in rest, But in the journey, paths we pave, With stumbles made, and lessons craved. The things we seek, the lands we chase, Refine themselves, with time’s embrace.
For self-actualisation’s flame, Burns not in conquest, but in the name Of growth and purpose, ever true, A journey inward, ever new. So let us dance with dreams untold, Embrace the paths, both brave and bold. For in the seeking, we shall find, The truest heaven, peace of mind.

Upon the Sea’s Magnanimity
Upon the Sea’s Magnanimity
In the early afternoon
As the Sun beat down on us
With fiery intensity
And the simmering brown sands burnt our bare feet
Like red hot charcoal
Just outside the water’s errant edge
We sauntered along the shoreline
Treading on the waves
Embosoming the shore in
an ephemeral embrace,
Before rushing back home.
Fascinated by the steel grey sea`s
desolate glory
With our blue jeans rolled up to the knees
We ventured a little farther
Than the fellow strollers dared
But would run backwards,
Every time a breaker threatened
To drown us.
Stooping down,
We picked up foam from creamy crests,
Near the water’s rugged edge
And blew it like soap-suds
In the palm of our hands
In the face of that vast expanse of waters.
‘The sea is so generous
it doesn`t keep anything for itself …’
Said our friend,
A dweller by the sea.
‘If I was caught up in that great wave
and carried away,
would the sea return me ashore?’
Asked I pointing to a breaker and
almost kidding
‘Well, it most certainly would’,
Added he in all seriousness.
‘but, by then, it’d already have taken
your life!’
Neptune`s generous. But not enough.
