Founded by Daminda Perera, a former Sri Lanka Airforce officer who transitioned from a military career to entrepreneurial pursuits, Rasoda Dairies commenced as a modest domestic venture, processing 100 liters of fresh milk daily and crafting yogurt and ice lollies using traditional methods.
Under Perera’s leadership, the company navigated formidable challenges, establishing a robust foundation during its early years. Today, Rasoda Dairies processes an impressive 10,000 liters of fresh milk daily.
The recent inauguration of a state-of-the-art factory, equipped with cutting-edge Dutch technology and insights from both international and local experts, enhances production capabilities to an astounding 40,000 liters per day. The facility’s advanced technology, coupled with global packaging practices, underscores Rasoda Dairies’ commitment to setting new benchmarks in hygiene standards.
