‘Glories of Thiruketheeswaram,’ written by scholar Dr. Subashini Pathmanathan will be launched on March 20 at 6pm, at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre Colombo. The book provides an insight into the prehistory and history of Thiruketheeswaram temple till to date.
Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, Deputy High Commissioner of India in Sri Lanka, will be the Chief Guest at this event. The Book launch will be followed by a Bharatha- Natya recital on Lord Shiva.
Glories of Thiruketheeswaram contains a wealth of information about the temple, including an in-depth analysis of spiritual enlightenment and cultural values.
