The National Reconciliation Foundation and the Athurugiriya Jayoda Language Centre organised a cultural event to promote unity and reconciliation among school children and parents of Valvettithurai, Jaffna and the Athurugiriya area. Fifty four school children and 54 parents attended the event representing Valvettithurai, Jaffna. A large number of people including National Reconciliation Foundation Secretary A.D. Priyadharshani and Sugandhika Sangeeth participated on behalf of the Jaffna community.
